I always find it interesting to see what others bring. I try to pack light, but not excessively so. We weren't planning on cooking any meals, so I left out any cooking gear (though tempting to have something to make morning coffee). We managed to fit everything into 4 medium-sized panniers—a requirement since we knew the rental bikes wouldn't have front racks.
